Repeaters
Repeaters can extend the range of a Radio transmission by receiving and then rebroadcasting the transmission using an antenna located in a high location, such as a mountain top, tall building or radio tower. A transmission range of over 100 kilometer’s can be achieved through the use of a repeater.
